Hey, nobody wants to listen to me windbagging it just before Christmas. But I thought this event was worth mentioning.
The famous Harlem Globetrotters are a hundred years old, and they’re going on a world tour. I gotta say, they’re America’s best ambassadors—especially now.
By the way, Ray, the Globetrotters are playing in Springfield on Monday, December 29th. Gin Bottle Garvey called and said he’s going with his buddies from the Buck & Doe Lounge, and that he’s throwing out the first pitch. I said, “Lunkhead, it’s basketball.” Now you know why I call him Gin Bottle.
Anyway, you gotta listen to the Globetrotters’ warm-up tune and just start dancing around. Merry Christmas, gang. Keep your dukes up.
