Tony The Tiger
I gotta tell ya, when Tony Ravosa gets an idea in his head, he jumps in, pulls it off, and gets it done, Bucko.
We teamed up on the Andy Yee Palliative Care Unit designs. The Care Unit is the only one of its kind in the area. Tony almost single-handedly, along with the great doctor Phil Glynn, raised the bucks and they got it done. The unit is at Mercy Hospital, named for restaurateur Andy Yee, who died of cancer in 2021. Go online and scout the full story. It’s inspiring.
Well, now Tony wants to bring a Cadillac dealership back to Springfield. GM pulled the plug on Orr Cadillac 16 years ago. That’s been hound-doggin’ Tony ever since. Speaking of hound dogs, Elvis drove a Caddy—and so did the Champ, Ali. Tony’s dad drove a Caddy and so has Tony. I always thought of the Cadillac and Corvette as America’s cars and I think they’re onto something with their new sleek designs, and they just launched a new full-fledged Formula 1 racing team.
So anyways, to kick off Tony’s campaign, we dialed in Myke Connolly’s Stand Out Truck and traveled around to local media and out on the streets getting the word out. It’s good old grassroots, rebel-think marketing, baby. And so here we go. We’ll keep you posted on Tony’s wild ride and the kind of buzz it generates out there. Keep your dukes up.
