Tell The Cook This Is High-Grade Dog Food
There are two ways to look at the fast-growing market for high-end dog food . And they’re probably both right. Yeah, you can pretty securely grumble about how people will fall for anything — and how it seems that’s particularly true of pet owners. Seriously. Shopping at Whole Foods to feed a creature that will happily eat out of any random garbage can seems at least a tad excessive. But you can also take the trend as further evidence that even when people are reluctant to spend on themselves, they’re more than happy to shell out for they’re beloved pets. Might be silly, but it points to a whole world of opportunity. Build – or, hell, just sell – a better dog anythingand Americans will beat a path to your door.
